Henan Key Laboratory of Polyoxometalate Chemistry

The “Henan Key Laboratory of Polyoxometalate Chemistry” was first established in 1996, formally established in April 2015.The laboratory has formed three stable research directions for Polyoxometalate synthesis and structure analysis, Polyoxometalate materials and Polyoxometalatecatalysts.The director of the laboratory academic committee is Academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences Hong Maochun  and the director of the laboratory is Professor Niu Jingyang. Currently, The laboratory has 25 faculty and staff members, including 1 provincial distinguished professor, 4 university distinguished professors, 1 specialist enjoying special government allowance, 1 outstanding expert in Henan Province, 1 academic leader in Henan Province, and 2 innovation leader in Henan Province.

The laboratory has an area of 1,350 square meters and the total value of large and medium-sized equipment is over 15 million yuan. Since 2012, the laboratory has undertaken 49 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, including 28 National Natural Science Foundation of China; has published more than 250 SCI papers, 2 industrialization projects，1 second prize of Henan Province Science and Technology Progress Award, 2 Science and Technology Achievement Award of Henan Provincial Department of Education, 10 national invention patents authorized.
